<p>Fireworks, 3 July 2009, at the swing bridge&nbsp;along Highway 50&nbsp;in Surf City, North Carolina, one of the few remaining swing bridges in the state.&nbsp;Discussions are underway proposing replacement of&nbsp;the swing bridge with a concrete high rise as boat taffic along the intercoastal waterway and development in the area continue to increase.
